With a heart for affordability and a mind for commercial business, Ben Bauwens co-founded Aristotl. His team combines technology and simplification to bring AI to students in the right way.
The Greek knew it best, young people learn best by asking questions, not by being given all of the answers. AI is on the rise in education and not for no reason. There’s a massive teacher shortage all across Belgium. Students look for private tutors to help them, but this is not always an affordable option.

On the other hand, students turn to AI. The more well-known AI models aren’t always helpful when learning. The popular AI engines present you with all of the answers in one go. Easy-peasy, but students risk missing out on learning to think critically.
This is why Ben co-founded Aristotl. It’s an AI that caters to each students’ specific needs. It learns about their best and worst subjects and is available 24/7 online to help students get through the topics they struggle most with, but step by step, and without revealing all of the information at once.
In this way, it’s a tool that helps students learn how to use AI in a more critical way. Ben started working on Aristotl, inspired to make a change to real and current problems and he advises other young student-entrepreneurs to do the same: “Find a real problem, instead of a solution for a fake problem. Your team is of the utmost importance to you. Make sure you have differing skills, but the same values and goals.”
