Making Decisions Together: MoQi, an International Story.

What happens when a Spaniard and a Belgian put their heads together in the bustling city of Hong-Kong? They come up with some great ideas. It happened to Bram Heyselberghs, while he was studying abroad. Now he’s ready to launch MoQi.

Hong Kong is one the world’s busiest cities, full of young and like-minded people ready to start launching startups. Inspired by this exchange, but faced directly with the many different types of issues that young entrepreneurs encounter, Bram decided to face the challenge head-on.

MoQi uses the wisdom of the crowd to promote equity crowdfunding. It’s a democratizing, public and international process, making it possible for investors, as well as the general public to access today’s most exciting businesses, whilst they are taking their ideas to the next level. MoQi also encourages corporate entrepreneurship, and enables workers within established companies to push their new ideas and strategies forward.

The reality is that undertaking entrepreneurship is like walking on a road full of obstacles, whether you’re searching for funding, or searching for time and space. Bram can attest to this, as he’s one of many young entrepreneurs who combine full-time work with building their own business. How to successfully manage this and other challenges, he will address during his talk at TechNight 2025. His advice to anyone (or all) still worrying at home, is to see the value in learning practically. “Apply spontaneously to jobs, you’ll learn so much more about the inner workings and challenges of any company, by being with them, rather than sitting at home and getting stuck wondering…”

If you are feeling inspired, make sure to come down to TechNight 2025, where Bram will be speaking.
